Frewie is a class batsmen who can destroy the best of bowling attacks in an instant, with an array of fluent aggressive stroke play that makes Sir Viv Richards look a average at best.

More often than not he can be found either admiring the gymnastic abilities of his middle stump cart wheeling back, or wondering how the fielder managed to hold on to the catch. When in full flow he can be unstoppable, hence he is the only person ever to score two, count them, two 4th team centuries.

Within the club he has reputation for turning easy twos into tight ones, although he famously ran a three last season with an unlikely partner…..Captain Marvel!

Not just an exciting batsmen, Alex can also turn his arm over with the ball. With an array of deliveries that bamboozle batsmen, he has taken vital wickets that have turned the course of a game or season. It has also been known for the Barracuda superstar to don the keeping gloves, with limited success. With the keeping ability of Kenny and the turning circle of the titanic, you can see the difficulties faced. But despite this, the crowds that come to see him play are entertained and have a barrel of laughs.

Off the pitch, prior to the 2009 season, he could be seen as the reason as to why many Town players are drunk on a Saturday night, and consequently been in no state to play on the Sunday - just ask Johnny Ling! Due to the all round good nature of the guy he offers trebles (sometimes more) for singles on the buy one get at least four free offer, that seems to be exclusive to the Tusker bar and Frew’s service. Although it will come to a disappointment of the clubs night out regulars that he has retired from the bar industry in order to persue his own drinking career.
