Former Glamorgan Cricket Star to Captain Bridgend Town

After 2009 being the most successful
year in the clubs history, Bridgend Town are further looking to improve
by announcing former Glamorgan fast bowler Andrew Davies as their captain.

Davies, who enjoyed a 12 year
professional career with the Welsh outfit, will work alongside current
club coach Michael Jones.

2009 saw the three of the clubs
four senior teams win promotion, as well as being granted full England
and Wales cricket Board (ECB) accreditation. Thus recognising the club
to be in a very strong position both on and off the field, and right
through the senior and junior teams to the ladies section.
